Peacock Tryptych

I am a decorative artist, and the Peacock has always been a favourite in decorative works.
Original was design idea  for a dressing screen.
This painting  displays  a chinoiserie feeling by painting ontop of a faux horizontal silk background.
The use of oriental style crysanthemums and peonies enhances this oriental flavour..
The introduction of the Tui came by watching  and listening to them in the garden while painting this project.
Printed on 310gsm archival photorag paper with lightfast inks.
